The community of Olinda coming together after the severe bushfires in the area

The community of Olinda got together in mid-January to share a meal, talk through their experiences of the recent high-intensity bush-fires very very close to home. The Honorable Andrew Gee MP organised all manner of recovery agencies to come and chat to this community in order to understand what grants and support are available to them as they look to re-building. It was a privilege seeing the strength of this community after weeks of bush-fire stress, and are readying to face the challenge of the clean up. There are free support services available if you are feeling wobbly and need some one to talk to. https://www.wnswphn.org.au/affected_by_bushfires
