Rural Obstetrics Emergency Training (REOT) is a one-day workshop designed to prepare non-obstetric practitioners with vital emergency obstetrics and instill the necessary skills and confidence required when dealing with third trimester emergencies.

REOT provides you with:

  • An opportunity to learn directly from rural doctors and midwives
  • Skills in normal birth procedures
  • Skills in common birthing emergencies, and
  • Essential knowledge and skills relevant to any type of doctor in any location.
