National Cervical Screening Program Update Webinar

With the changes to the National Cervical Screening Program due to be implemented on 1st December 2017, the Update Webinar discusses:
 
  • Epidemiology and public health aspects of HPV and cervical cancer 
  • The new screening and management pathways for special consideration groups 
  • Management guidelines for screen-detected abnormalities 
Presented by | Dr Lina Safro

Dr Lina Safro is Medical Education Coordinator at Family Planning NSW, and practises clinically at the Family Planning NSW Ashfield and Dubbo clinics. She also works as Visiting Medical Officer at the Sexual Assault Service at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney


Learning Outcomes

  • Gain understanding of the current National Cervical Screening Program and the HPV vaccination program
  • Gain understanding of the changes to the National Cervical Screening Program to be implemented from 1 December 2017
  • Improve skills and confidence in performing cervical screening
