CPD Event - Caring for Colleagues, Caring for Ourselves
This education session will provide a detailed case presentation and interactive discussion on the key theme of doctors’ psychological health.
It will explore specific psychological health problems and challenges confronting medical professionals and colleagues, and discuss ways to respond to those problems.
The interactive session will also explore the barriers to doctors seeking treatment in rural areas and delve into the role of both the treating doctor and the doctor as patient.
Through learning how to respond to the psychological health challenges confronting medical practitioners, GPs will be healthier themselves and better able to effectively and safely treat patients and doctors in their care.
