Dr Deshan Sebaratnam and Associate Professor Mark Arnold will speak at 'Patients with chronic inflammatory conditions and how to manage them. Hidradentis Suppurativa, Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis

Dr Sebaratnam is a fellow of the Australian College of Dermatology and consults at Dubbo Dermatology, Sydney Skin and the Skin Hospital.  He is a Paediatric Dermatology fellow within the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network & also works as a Staff Specialist at Liverpool Hospital.  He is currently a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at UNSW and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He is a member of the affiliate staff at Kings College London. And to date has 49 publications, 306 citations and has authored a number of book chapters in Dermatology.

Associate Professor Arnold  is the current Head of Clinical School at the School of Rural Health (Dubbo/Orange). He is a practicing physician in the field of Rheumatology, with practices in Dubbo, Gloucester and Orange. He has been teaching University of Sydney medical students since 2008, At Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, Mark held the positions of Visiting Medical Officer (1996-2013) and Clinical Assistant (1990-1996). He serves as a reviewer for the journals: Clinical Rheumatology; and International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases. Mark is currently completing a PhD in Bioethics from the Centre for Values, Ethics and the Law in Medicine (VELiM), having previously completed a Masters in Bioethics there in 2012.
