Participants will gain vision screening skills that will become part of their daily work practice.
Pre Requisite: Primary Eye Checks Module, CPD accredited and freely available on Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC) eLearning website (2 hours to complete).
Learning Outcomes:
- Performing routine eye and vision checks, as per the MBS715
- Understanding eye care needs for people with diabetes and eye assessments for the Chronic Disease Management Plan
- Eye care referral pathways and case study examples
- Continuous quality improvement for eye care
- NSW subsidised spectacle scheme access
