Pain and suffering is a multidimensional, complex experience.

There are many challenges in identifying and meeting the needs of the patients with a palliative diagnosis experiencing pain. 

Evaluation of pain from a bio-psycho-social spiritual framework is valuable when approaching a palliative patients pain management needs at End of Life.

This education session will expand upon an actual case study which includes a discussion regarding medicinal cannabis.

• Comprehend the safe titration of analgesics including opioids and adjunct medications, and common prescribing pitfalls
