The Well Women’s Screening course comprises:

• Online learning
• A one-day workshop at Yoorana Gunya, Forbes on Thursday 19 March 2020
• Workplace practice (Participants will be encouraged to practice cervical screening in their workplace between the workshop and clinical assessment.)
• Clinical assessment 4-6 weeks after the workshop (The course facilitators will work with participants in their workplace, or if required at a Family Planning  NSW clinic, for a half day to observe and assess them undertaking cervical screening testing.)

Participants who attend the workshop and successfully complete the clinical assessment will be issued with a Statement of Attainment. This course is equivalent to 28 hours to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) requirements for CPD.

Please express your interest to attend this course by completing the attached agreement and emailing Katie Prior, Education Programs Manager katie.prior@wnswphn.org.au  by 21 February 2020. Participation will be confirmed shortly after this date.
