The Carer Wellness Program is a one day course developed for the carer, be it spouse, child, relative or friend of a person living with dementia.

The aim of the program is to empower participants to assist in their caring role by building self-care skills, which will improve their health, well-being and quality of life.

The course covers:

  • Improving resilience, memory, nutrition and diet.
  • Improving physical health.
  • Improving knowledge of support networks and emotional well-being.
  • The program is run in partnership with Dementia Australia and NSW Health
