The University of Sydney operates free training courses for health professionals in the development of knowledge, skills, and practices to support the safe prescribing of opioid pharmacotherapies for opioid dependence.
The Opioid Treatment Accreditation Course (OTAC), which allows medical and nurse practitioners to be recognised as accredited prescribers of opioid pharmacotherapies, will be hosted in Orange on Saturday, October 19.
To register for the OTAC, visit www.otac.org.au and create an account to complete the introductory Fundamentals Training online component; it takes less than an hour to complete.
