WEBINAR: Depot Buprenorphine

NSW Health has commissioned free online training opportunities for clinicians to gain familiarity with depot buprenorphine use for opioid dependence. The next webinar is on 16 June 2020 at 5.30pm. GPs may be particularly interested, but it is open to all relevant clinicians.

This live webinar will be led by Professor Nick Lintzeris (FAChAM).   

This webinar will help Medical Practitioners and other clinical staff to:

  • Identify patients suitable for depot buprenorphine
  • Implement depot buprenorphine as an OAT for opioid dependency, specifically in relation to prescribing, induction, dose alterations & reduction off the drug
  • Incorporate treatment with depot buprenorphine into their practice
  • Comply with regulatory requirements of prescribing and storing of depot buprenorphine.
