Target Audience: 

All primary care staff, including GPs, Nurses and Aboriginal Health staff.

This session will take a more in-depth look at the specific services available for people with low vision. We will look at how the low vision (orthoptist) service provides clients with aids, including a range of optical magnification to CCTV with Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Gavin will also discuss training options available for people with low vision, when to refer and how to refer to Guide Dogs. At the end of the presentation there will be a Q&A session where participants will have the opportunity to have their questions answered.
