Learning Outcomes
- Understand the considerations required to support immunisation protection for immuno-compromised people
- Discuss current advice for COVID-19, influenza, pneumococcal and RSV infections and the effective role vaccination plays in reducing disease spread
- Outline the importance of active listening when engaging with individuals raising vaccine safety concerns
- Explain how to safely manage an anaphylactic event following immunisation
Target Audience
Practice Nurses, Nurse Immunisers, Nurses (all settings), Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Pharmacists, students and all health professionals with an interest in this topic
Cost: $20 incl. GST (morning tea and lunch is included)
