The WNSW PHN is pleased to partner with AGPAL to deliver a general practice, AMS and ACCHO focussed virtual education series to support you and your team’s progress towards higher performing primary care, including innovation and change management, culturally safe service delivery and responsive patient-centred care.

Practice transformation requires a culture of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to deliver responsive patient centred care that empowers patients to be informed and engaged in the management of their own health care. Embedding CQI provides an enhancement of systematic and quality improvement approaches to support evidence-based decision making. Sub-topics for discussion will include:

  • Frameworks and approaches for sustainable change in CQI culture
  • Model and measurement for improvement
  • The interface between quality assurance (accreditation), improvement and innovation
  • Quality management systems, and
  • Quality coaching (Group participation learning)
